About the Founders
Alfred Ricci made a conscious choice not to let his past dictate who he became. A double major in economics and business led to an MBA from the University of California and a career in international banking.
While working in 20+ countries, Alfred experienced some very stressful business cultures. Combining his experience of releasing trauma with his knowledge of the massive stress of corporate life, Alfred's mission is to share the necessary skills to thrive in traumatic work environments.
Alfred has 10+ years of teaching personal development workshops, including methods to release severe stress. Rising from the ashes and harnessing the power of his early years — living in shelters, a group home, and a foster home while attending six high schools in four years — Alfred reveals how even the most daunting obstacles can be overcome.
There were always people along the way who supported me. I am paying it forward to as many people as I can. Every company, project, and client is an opportunity to make something better and to help others.
For the past 30 years, Jayne Ellis has worked as a nurse in hospitals, hospice and community settings, and as a lecturer in the faculty of health at a London University. Today, she still works clinically as part of the emergency medical teams at local racecourses and for a private ambulance service.
Working in a profession where you feel that you are in a position to help and make a difference isn’t just a job but becomes part of who you are. Nothing comes close to the feeling that you have touched another’s life and helped them through a difficult time.
But, I am aware that this type of work comes at a price to those of us who do it and that price can be ourselves.
My passion is to deliver training that provides those in a caring role with the skills and knowledge they need to be able to do their job to the best of their ability. My years of experience and the diverse settings of my career have shaped the way I teach, and I am a passionate, imaginative, and innovative teacher, graded as outstanding by Ofsted.
Having completed courses in Compassion Fatigue, I have developed bespoke training to help carers of both humans and animals bring balance and healing to themselves and support their teams.
Alfred was able to set me on a journey that has changed my professional and personal life.
I can proudly say that I am well on my way to becoming that leader that I always admired.
